Meet I.Ø. Moon:

A Radiant Force of Artistry, Empowerment, and Sensuality

Hailing from Lafayette, Louisiana, and blossoming in the vibrant heart of New Orleans since 1999, I.Ø. Moon is a powerhouse of passion and artistry. Her dance journey spans over two decades, mastering and teaching the diverse movements of the African Diaspora with a flair uniquely her own.

In 2019, I.Ø. Moon stepped into the world of burlesque, intertwining her love of movement with a deeper mission: pleasure advocacy. Her work celebrates body positivity, healthy sexual relationships, and the decolonization of Black sexuality. For I.Ø., sensuality is not just an art—it’s a sacred, creative, and spiritual practice that she invites others to explore and embrace.

Her journey led to the creation of the highly anticipated multi-sensory experience, “Moanin’ at Midnight with Moon” (MMWM), in 2021. This quarterly event is more than a show; it’s a celebration of Black sexuality, a safe space to deconstruct societal narratives, and a platform for joy, empowerment, and liberation.

With a dazzling presence and a mission that resonates deeply, I.Ø. Moon is more than an artist—she’s a revolutionary voice in the burlesque and pleasure advocacy world.
